“Hi, I’m Amy. I’ve been struggling with my weight for the last few years due to a number of health issues and medication factors. I’ve always been after a quick fix in terms of losing weight. This year, I decided to take a more realistic approach that I could stick to long term. Due to health issues, I do struggle with exercise and recovery. I find that I go too hard and then have to take a few days off to recover. But Lauren’s classes have been great. I’m not too sore after and don’t have to spend ages recovering. Lauren is great. If there’s an exercise that she doesn’t think is right for me, she’ll get me to do something else. In the past, I felt pressured to keep up with the group in other classes and usually set myself back quite a bit. Since doing the 8-week challenge, I’ve lost 4.5kgs in the first few weeks. I’m really excited to see what difference I’ve had in measurements over the 8 weeks at the end. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a long-term solution. Lauren has been great and really encourages me. I was really nervous when I started but glad I did as I’m finally seeing some results.”
