Fergus started with my with the online coaching subscription. He had never step foot in the gym before and had a negative view of the gym. This all changed when he started to feel more confident with the machines and how to do things and seeing the progress within strength, weight-loss and mood!
There have been hurdles such as injuring his knee whilst working towrds Hyrox which we adpated in his program whilst it was healing but doing other cardio activies and strength acitvies until the knee felt better.
Then work go incredibily busy so we shortened the workouts and workout days so they were achievelable and could still help him progress.
Fast forward to the end of last year where he achieved his first Hyrox simulation event! Then before the end of Jan this year ran his first 10km in a long time!!
We acheived this by adapting when things got hard, when motivation dipped and made sure to create a program that worked for Fergus!
It is'nt about having the perfect plan, it is about having flexibility and someone in your corner to help guide you and celeberate the wins you don't see!
